About Patti Gast - RMT

I became interested in massage therapy as a client after a car accident left me with a debilitating neck and shoulder injury. Years of chronic pain led me on a journey into alternative treatments and bodywork. I have learned that there are many paths to healing and each individual may respond to different treatments. 7 years later I was pain free.
I knew that I wanted to give back and massage was the logical place to start. I attended Mountain Heart School of Bodywork in Crested Butte, Colorado in 2000. The 850 hour program provided a great foundation for many courses to come. I have studied muscle release, trigger point, and cranial sacral therapies, as well as several courses in Ortho-bionomy. I have also studied reiki and energy work for 9 years.
I believe in utilizing a variety of tools to customize the massage for the client. Whether a client needs sport-specific deep tissue massage or a nurturing relaxation experience, I have the diversity of experience and skills to serve each client’s specific needs.
I do not believe that anyone has to live with pain and my goal is to help get people out of pain. I have studied a variety of modalities to assist with the healing process. If I don't feel that I can help I will try to recommend someone who can.
